Conures are unquestionably some of the most personality-plus pets in the bird kingdom! So many subspecies! So beautiful! So needy for hands-on attention! And (it must be said) so prone to being noisy! Of them all, the green cheeks and maroon bellies tend to be the quietest and they make wonderful pets. But, if you have the stamina, don't let the noise rule out a conure. They can be the most "fun" bird you'll ever have.
