THE HYBRID MYTH

1. - THEY ARE STERILE -OBVIOUSLY NOT TRUE

2. - HYBRIDS DON'T MAKE GOOD PETS - TOTALLY UNTRUE - JUST ASK ANYONE WHO OWNS ONE

3. -  BIRDS DO NOT HYBRIDIZE IN THE WILD - TOTALLY UNTRUE - WHEN YOU LOOK AT MANY NATURE PROGRAMS YOU WILL SEE HYBRIDS IN THE WILD

The reality is that we are destroying the habitats of these marvelous animals - The unfortunate truth is they are now in the pet market - we are not re-populating the wild.  Bird pick their own mates - ask any breeder.  This can not be forced or manipulated in any way.  You can lead the bird to a mate - but you can not make them breed.  If they choose to mate with a bird of a different color it is their choice.  If you own a purebred cat or dog - chances are it is a product of cross breeding.

Our objective is to breed and produce the best pet birds possible - to educate our buyers on how to best care for their new companion - and explain the reality of bird ownership.  This way we know our babies will go to homes where they will stay and be cared for - FOR LIFE.   THIS IS THE TRUE CHALLANGE - not if a bird is a hybrid or not - but making sure they are well cared by their owners.  That owners not take the purchase lightly and understand this is a companion for LIFE.
